Science Students

Hello PES Families!

Wow, it is hard to believe the summer has come to an end and we are once again at the beginning of a new school year. Sunday's festivities were the perfect way to close out the summer season and begin to really look forward to the upcoming year. It was so wonderful to see so many new faces at the Kindergarten Orientation as well as so many familiar faces at the spirit day festivities. What a feat to pull something like this off year after year, and my hat tips to Liz for serving so many maple creamies!! Personally, this was our first year getting to enjoy this particular event as we moved to town in early 2020, but it is truly a blessing to have this camaraderie baked into the fabric of our town.

Looking ahead, we have a full schedule of events shaping up for this new school year. There are many opportunities to get involved with the PTA as an officer (most urgent need!) as well as being one of our many wonderful volunteers and contributors to make these events such a success. Please look through this Involvement Questionnaire to see if there is anything that strikes your fancy to become involved with this great community. Everyone is welcome to our meetings and to all events on our upcoming calendar. Meetings will begin Tuesday 9/13 and will occur every other month on the second Tuesday. Beginning in October we will hold parent forums with Principal Bucklin every other month on the second Tuesday of the month. Please reach out to PlainfieldNH.PTA@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to volunteer. Looking forward to a great new year.

Best,

Nikki Turner (1st grade parent)
