Temporary Plainfield School Board Vacancy
The Plainfield School Board is seeking to fill a vacant school board position. Interested candidates will serve from August 2026 until the Annual Meeting in March of 2027. The chosen candidate will need to run again in the March election if they wish to stay on the board. The candidate must be a Plainfield/Meriden, NH resident.
If interested, please submit a letter of intent to the Superintendent, Dr. David Baker, at dbaker@sau32.nh.gov by 4:00 pm on Monday, August 10, 2026. Any letters received after this date will not be considered by the Board. The letter of intent must include your name, physical address, telephone number and email address. Please also describe why you are interested in serving on the Plainfield School Board.
The Plainfield School Board has sole decision making authority in selecting the best candidate for the position. The Board will consider applications at their regularly scheduled school board meeting on August 11, 2026.
