Volunteering at Plainfield School
Together we make a difference!

The staff and students at Plainfield School invite you to become an active part of our school. It was once said, "It takes a whole village to educate a child." This is certainly true of the Plainfield School experience; we have been a Blue Ribbon school for over four years. Our volunteers are priceless. Volunteers enrich our school in so many ways: working with students; serving lunch; helping in our athletic program; cooking for the staff; building shelves; skiing with students; teaching environmental education through the Four Winds program; sharing job and life experiences; serving on committees; working on our grounds and in our garden; teaching electives; and so much more.

Our parents, families, and friends, are the best!

Fourth Grade Needs Support Person:

Mrs. Pullen is looking for a volunteer to help her with material preparation and simple clerical tasks.  Here is a sample of things she needs help with this year:  labeling & organizing student filing systems, photo copying various materials, putting homework packets together and gathering science materials for the week ahead.  If this volunteer could be available Monday mornings that would  be ideal,  but not  necessary!
