School Board

The Plainfield School Board is a five member, town elected committee that meets twice a month on average for most of the year. The Board is primarily responsible for the governance of the school district, approving personnel and curriculum, and for setting policy, budget and financial guidelines, setting goals for the Plainfield School District.

The Board welcomes community input and participation.

If there is a school wide issue that is of importance to you to share with the School Board, please write or call Chris Forman, Chair or Dr. Gregory J. Vogt, Superintendent, to request a spot on the agenda for an upcoming meeting. (Any question of personal nature would first go to the school personnel involved.)

Community participation is critical to the success of the Plainfield School. We welcome your help on facilities, grounds, volunteering in classes or library, or for special events.
