Plainfield School provides inclusive education for students with special needs. Specialized services provide support for the student and teacher. These services are provided on a schedule that can be as limited as once a week or as frequent as 2-3 periods a day. some services are in the form of direct services to students. Others are consultative services to teachers.
Federal law required the local school district to identify and provide programs for all special education children. In New Hampshire this begins at the child's third birthday. If you think you have a special needs child, contact the Director of Special Education or the Principal.
